Conference Theme:2010 ELT Technological Industry: Computer-Scoring English Writing會議主題：英語教學科技產業：電腦評分式的英文寫作
Topics (研討會及投稿議題):
The primary goal of this conference is to explore current research and application in computer-scoring English writing. Topics include, but are not limited to:
1. CALL and Internet Resources in Applied Linguistics and Language Teaching (電腦與網路教學)
2. Second Language Acquisition: Theory and Application (第二語言習得理論與應用)
3. Corpus/Corpora in Language Teaching and Application (語料庫及語言教學)
4. Language for Specific Purposes in Teaching and Application (專業語言的教學與應用)
5. Language Testing and Assessment (語言測驗與評量)
6. Translator and Interpreter Training Theories and Practices (口筆譯訓練：理論與實務)
7. Cross Culture and Literature in Language Teaching (跨文化及文學教學)
8. Educational Objectives and/or Current Situations of Applied/Foreign Languages Programs
(應用外/英語系：目標與現況)
9. Other related Topics in English Language Teaching (其他相關英語教學主題)

Important Dates (重要日期):
Abstract due (摘要截止日期): February 20, 2010
Notification of abstract acceptance (通知摘要接受日期): March 5, 2010
Full paper due (全文截止日期): April 15, 2010
Conference (研討會日期): May 7, 2010



Types of Presentation (論文發表形式):
1. Paper: Focus on the investigation of theory and experiment; 50 minutes for each paper, including 40-minute presentation and 10-minute discussion. The abstract should include a statement of theory, research methodology, and findings. 論文口頭報告 (Paper)：每場50分鐘 (論文發表40分鐘及討論10分鐘)。摘要應包含理論概述、研究方法、及研究發現。
2. Poster session: a choice of submitting a full text or the abstract only (Please indicate in your mail.)
海報張貼 (Poster session)：可選擇僅投摘要或全文刊登方式(請在電子郵件中註明)。

Conference/Paper Language: All papers are to be written and presented in English.
會議及論文撰寫使用語言：一律以英文撰寫與發表。
The presented papers will be reviewed and published as conference proceedings.
研討會後，經審查接受之論文，將以專書出刊。

Guidelines for Abstract Submission (摘要投稿方式):
1. Abstracts should be limited to no more than 350 words. 摘要內容350字以內。
2. Submission via e-mail at: B9560034@mail.npust.edu.tw 請以電子郵件寄送至指定網址
(with the subject “Abstract for ELT Technological Industry Conference”).
（電子郵件主旨部份請註明「英語教學科技產業研討會摘要」）
3. Please indicate in your e-mail the intended type of presentation (Paper or Poster session).
請註明欲參加發表形式（論文口頭報告或海報）
